Came quickly and advised how I could identify what triggered the fuses myself rather than charing to stay and do it. Honest trader.
Internal Lighting
Very old man quoted then cslled me night before increasing the price to double what was quoted and denied quoting me original price. Baring in mind i have only weekends to do this job, then agreed price which included odd jobs turned up and said he cant do it as need two people. Job is clear and i agreed to pay his parking good job i had not paid for it yet. I am upset as job clearly described what i needed.

If I'm old, it's not your problem. I gave you the quote to fix the light in the kitchen. Regarding the cooker hood, we always give an approximate quote. I came to see the work, but after checking, I thought it was appropriate that another person was needed to set up and fix the hood. Not being able to proceed, I refused the job. Even though I'm old, I got there at this age. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN. God bless you.

Did a good job to identify and issue and recommend a solution. Did all the by-passing and so on to check system did work and changed th thermostat when it arrived and ensured this worked. Reasonably priced considering other London area tradesmen prices. Unfortunately our problem is not solved and we are at a loss to understand why at this time. Must be the power meter or something in the tank?
