Prompt, professional and polite, exactly what you want. Said they would be with me 09:00 Monday morning and by my watch they were 2 mins early! How many times do you get a time and it can be missed by days - not these guys. More than happy with the work - my roof looks a million times better. Friendly crew that kept in me in the loop of when they would be around and kept to it. Can’t fault them.

Couldn't be happier with the work that David and Chris carried out. They completely transformed our garden and gave valuable input into the design as it progressed. They put in some serious hard graft to get the job completed in the timeframe they gave and the price we were quoted is exactly what we paid. They left the place clean and tidy as well. Valley Walling called round promptly and gave a good value quote to re point and tidy and seal the top of the wall. They told me exactly when they would start and finish the job. They kept to the timing and days working to the dot. Before they left they cleaned up using my hose for the stray bits of cement. Would recommend them for all outside building work. Whenever I take on a job I do my absolutely best to be neat and tidy as I know how important is is to yourself the customer. All work undertaken is done to the highest possible standard as that’s why all my ratings but one are positive (when I injured my shoulder and had no chance to rectify) I have just come back on Rated People after a couple of years working full time for a specific contractor and have had no need to be on here in case you where wondering why the reviews are old. We are a builders who carry out loft conversion and extensions along with all types of building work, we take no deposit, we send you to our last job we have completed, so you speak to customer. We are currently building a house from start to finish in Heysham which you can view, we have on board a part P electrical along with a gas safe heating engineer, we have a roofer who carry’s out all our roofing needs. All our lads are qualified and hold all certificates etc. We always send new customers to view our last jobs and lease with customer asking any questions regarding builds. Our insurance covers all aspects of all types of building works. We set out a payment plan, so payments are in stages, the last payment is when all work is completed and passed by building control.

I am very pleased with the work done by JMR. The tradesmen were pleasant and happy to make any changes or additions to the original plans, with the approval of James (the boss). Nic did an amazing job of the plastering, and Tristan applied his many skills to the build. The estimate was reasonable, and was also the final price charged for the original plan. James charged a fair price for the extra work I requested, and was open to discussion on any aspect of the build. A job well done.
