They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

Excellent work from an extremely knowledgeable and helpful workman, despite the job being larger than originally envisaged. Phil was punctual, polite and extremely hardworking, offering advice and working around problems where any were found. He went around the entire kitchen and tested everything thoroughly after the work was completed, sent through safety/inspection certificates promptly. Highly recommended, I would happily use him again should I need more work done.

Very pleased with the service that we received. He arrived promptly and was efficient. Very polite and curteous would happily recommend. It was also a Bank Holiday and this did not deter him from coming out so we were very pleased and the fault was rectified.

GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. This work was quite complicated due to the age and “character” of the cottage (no straight lines!), plus working in a busy family home. They did an absolutely fantastic job. Greg and Luka were so hardworking and skilful. There was great communication at every stage and they were courteous and considerate. We are so happy with the results! Thank you.

Craig did an amazing job on my bathroom! He went out of his way to get everything done on time and was neat and extremely efficient. He charged me more than fairly for a such high standard of work and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am very pleased with the work that Alan did for me and I would highly recommend him. Alan responded to my ad and arranged a time to visit for a quote. After discussing my requirements, it was clear to me that Alan is an experienced tiler with lots of knowledge. Communication was excellent and a week later he arrived on time, completed the job within the expected timeframe and cleaned up before leaving. Ben did a great job replacing worn pipework under our kitchen sink. He is a skilled, efficient worker who worked out how he could creatively improve our set up and achieved just that, providing us with much more space in that area. His prices are very fair and, on top of that, he is a very personable and polite young man. We would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to others.
