Agreed a price of £85 for the service. Mr Griffiths arrived 50 mins late and pressed a reset button that I pointed out to him. He then told me he came out to get the rayburn going and NOT for a service as he would charge £200. He then had a good look around my home and priced up other work for and insisted on payment for the rayburn. I have been left £85 out of pocket, with a rayburn not working and very intimidated by the mannner this 'local' trademen operated. So upset I didnt leave the house for days.

2 storey extension ok initially organising others to come in and do work, had contract & payment plan from outset but as work went on communication became worse sometimes didn't turn up, no replies to messages etc ..no eye for detail in finishes had to get others to finish or put right his work.

I am sorry to say that after doing one job well for us Keith proved untrustworthy when we left him the key to our house to refurb the kitchen while we were on holiday. It seemed like a good idea. Wrong! The story is long and he has his 'excuses'. We felt let down and put at risk when he subcontracted all the work to people we didn't know, gave them our alarm code and left the key with them too. IF he does the work it's okay but we wouldnt dream of engaging him again. Sorry Keith.

Job started off well but there were issues afterwards. Walls are not level, the pointing is not right and the opening of the doorway is way out of level. They have not filled in block work joints on the outside and rainwater is seeping in. I have to pay for another bricklayer to put everything right. Would I recommend these guys? No chance.

DPG are a two man operation who seemed friendly and personable. They took £50 cash in advance for cutting the lawn and weeding as I had to work. They cut the lawn but did not weed or finish edging. I text for them to finish the job and they said they would come. However, they didn't turn up as agreed. They have avoided my calls for over a week now and failed to reply to all further calls/voicemail/texts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

Even a star is not applicable for these people. The came to mend my house due to a leak in bathroom and went back breaking a pipe and not repairing anything. Taking away 2k in the process. Just avoid please
