Ben is a highly competent and reliable builder. He completed our kitchen/garage conversion and bathroom work efficiently and to a great standard. Ours was a complex job with many different components all of which Ben tackled with no complaints, routinely offering practical solutions to any issues that arose which enabled us to retain our look and feel while keeping to budget. With us for nearly 7 weeks, Ben was very friendly at all times and we felt totally happy leaving him alone with keys to the house.

We are a period/listed property restoration company. We specialise in traditional materials and methods. Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

My wife and I wanted the job doing with the least disturbance possible and to the highest standard of quality. I am very pleased that this was achieved, Richard and Howard (the builders) were both professional and well mannered, they started on time and during the heavy rain kept on working to finish the job. After the job was complete they they cleaned up the area they had worked in. I would have no reason not to strongly recommend them.

I needed an experienced brickie to urgently to sort out an extension before crane/steels turned up in few days. Shaun gave a fair quote, turned up on time exactly as promised. Worked very hard even in the boiling heat and did a great job. 100% recommended!!

Nathan took on a half finished job of a front of house extension and completed it in no time. Accurate quote, reasonable prices constant updates on the progress and always asked us to confirm decisions. Nico and his team were excellent They done a first class job. Nico kept in touch throughout the work and they were all polite and friendly. Re-pointing is always a messy job, but they cleaned up everything very well afterwards A great job, the chimneys and the brickwork look great..Many thanks to Nico , Chris and everyone else who helped.I would certainly use NCS again and recommend them to anyone.
