George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!
